Reflex type level gauge has a sturdily constructed body, with glass and cover securely held by U-bolts to maintain the hermetric seal. The type features several parallel grooves cut into the glass surface that is in contact with the liquid. The resulting prismatic causes gases to appear white by reflection; liquid black by absorption.
Thus the level of even transparent liquid can be clearly obserred. Low, medium and high pressure types may be used according to application condition, and units may be manufactured using carbon steel, stainless steel or a wide variety of other materials for parts in contact with the liquid.
Type RU reflex gauge has a nubmer of further advantages including light weight, availability of long visible lengths, and low price. Ball check valve for emergency shut-off is the gauge valve.
Transparent type level gauge consist of the body, with the glass and cover held by stud bolts to maintain a hermetic seal. The type allows observation of liquid level through two of transparent glasses, marking them applicable to colored and non-transparent liquids. For high-pressure, high-temperture of alkaline application, a layer of high grade mica can be applied to the inner surface of the glasses, not only protecing the glasses, but improving pressure-resistance and heat - resistance.
A lighting device may also be provided for even clearer confirmation of liquid level. Ball check valve for emergency shut-off is in the gauge valve.
Tubular type level gauge is the simplest in structure and the most widely used. It is used at pressure of 5Kgf/cm² (5barG) and below. Ball check valve for emergency shut-off is in the gauge valve. (except TUP-7 series)
